A scenic 1-mile stroll along the promenade takes you from the centre of Grange-over-Sands, via the stunningOrnamental Gardens dating back to 1865 to Grange’s Victorian Railway Station. Restored to its former grandeur and providing fast links to Barrow, Lancaster and further afield, to Manchester Airport. it is a treat for railway architecture enthusiasts. Hampsfell just a half-hour walk from Grange, offers breathtaking views of the Old Man of Coniston, Helvellyn, the Langdales, and Morecambe Bay.
